How To Cancel Camcast Internet Service (Xfinity.com)

It is very hard to cancel Camcast service. TV, internet, etc.

What I have done is...

1) call to retention department; 877-424-2028.

   (you may call to some representative number)

2) select a number corresponding  'cancel service'.

   (However, in this case the phone call was no further response for two times. And later, the calls were disconnected as soon as I select the 'cancel service'.

3) select other number such as 'technical service'.

    Then the automatic system will ask you what do you want. At that time speak 'cancel service', then you may be connected to a 'retention department'. If other department person responded, then tell the person to transfer the call to the 'retention department'. This is the most process! Only 'retention department' can cancel your service!!!

4) After answering on address, account number, etc. He will ask the reason to cancel. No other reason, Just say 'leaving this country, or returning my home country'. Then he will not ask any more.

5)The cancellation will be finished. And in 30 days of the initial service, you can receive full refund. The person in the retention department told me the cancellation confirmation will be done in 6 hours, and the confirmation mail will be also sent to my email.
